Clay serves as senior vice president and chief human resources officer for NCI Information Systems, responsible for the company’s human capital strategies and execution. He brings more than 30 years of experience leading human resources teams and driving human capital initiatives in support of business objectives, most recently as vice president of Human Resources for Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s U.S. public sector organization. Prior to this, he worked in various HR leadership roles at Leidos and L3 Technologies.



Matthew Smith, Head of People Analytics, Altria
Matt Smith leads the people analytics practice at Altria. He is transforming how Altria leverages quantitative and qualitative data to make data-informed talent decisions to enhance strategy. Matt has over 15 years of data and business analytics experience in a variety of subject areas with a concentration in people analytics since 2013.

Steve Elkins is the People Analytics and HRIS Leader at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), the nation’s largest university-affiliated research center. Steve possesses over 30 years of human resources, analytics, HRIS and workforce planning experience. Prior to joining APL, Steve worked for Lockheed Martin Corporation, Philips Electronics, BankAtlantic and Florida Power & Light (FPL.)
